financial world decided to go on an adventure without telling the bank! π
What are your thoughts about cryptocurrency?
Every now and then, I hear people talking about cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin this, Bitcoin that. Someone has invested, someone has earned a fortune, and someone else is apparently crying into their pillow.
And there I am, listening politely, wondering whether I missed an important meeting where the rest of the world was taught how this mysterious money works.
Honestly, I know cryptocurrency exists. That’s where my knowledge begins and, rather embarrassingly, ends.
Who operates it? Where does it come from? Who keeps an eye on it? And most importantly, where does one go if one wants to complain about it?
I have absolutely no idea.
Apparently, people buy it, sell it, trade it and sometimes make enormous profits.
Meanwhile, I’m still trying to understand how money can exist without being printed, counted, folded or safely tucked inside a purse.
Imagine telling me that my money is somewhere on the internet.
Excuse me, but I have enough trouble finding my photographs on my own phone. Now I’m supposed to trust the internet with my money?
And then there are people who casually discuss Bitcoin prices as if they’re discussing the price of tomatoes.
“Bitcoin is up today.”
“Oh, wonderful! Did you buy some?”
“No, I was just checking.”
Phew! At least I’m not the only one watching without participating.
But jokes apart, I’m genuinely curious. Is cryptocurrency really the next big thing, or is it one of those modern inventions that everyone talks about while secretly hoping someone will explain it in simple language?
For now, I’ve decided to remain an interested spectator.
No investments, no trading, no sleepless nights checking digital numbers.
My money and I have a perfectly peaceful relationship. I’d rather not introduce a mysterious third party.
So, dear readers, enlighten me.
Do you understand cryptocurrency? Have you invested in it? Or are there others like me who know it exists but wouldn’t know where to begin?
And please, explain it as if you’re talking to someone who still likes to see her money before believing she has it.
Because curiosity is free, and at the moment, that’s the only cryptocurrency I’m willing to invest in.
Earning it is difficult. Spending it is effortless. And losing it? Apparently, there’s now an app for that too

Hey,
Iβm not sure if youβve seen my latest post, so I thought Iβd drop by here.
Iβm part of a fun storytelling relay challenge where one blogger writes a chapter and passes the baton to another. Iβve nominated you to take up the next chapter, as I think your quirky take would be just what this story needs!
The story is called *The Stranger in Apartment 4402*, and things have become rather interesting. We now have two identical Arjuns, some suspicious curtains, a rather unusual shower and a broker who seems to know more than heβs letting on!
You can read the story so far and find all the details in my latest post. Hereβs the link:
Would you be willing to take up the challenge? If youβre unable to, no worries at all. Just let me know, and Iβll pass the baton to someone else.
Hope to hear from you soon! π
