Healing through words 😄

Forget five-star resorts. Forget crowded tourist attractions.

If I could take a vacation in any fictional world, I’d choose the Shire from The Lord of the Rings.

Not because I want to fight dragons, carry magical rings, or save the world. Honestly, I’d be perfectly happy doing absolutely none of that.

I’d wake up in a cozy little hobbit hole, open the round green door, and step into a morning that smells like fresh grass and warm bread. There would be no alarm clocks screaming at me, no traffic jams, and hopefully no “urgent” messages.

My day would be simple.

A long walk through rolling green hills. A lazy afternoon under a tree. Tea with a neighbour. Maybe a second breakfast because apparently, in the Shire, one breakfast is simply not enough.

And in the evening?

A warm meal, good conversation, music, laughter, and a sky full of stars.

That’s what makes the Shire so appealing to me. It isn’t spectacular because of magic. It is magical because ordinary life feels beautiful there.

Of course, I’d visit Rivendell too. Just for the views.

But after a few days, I know where I’ll return.
