Whatβs a completely useless fact you love sharing?
A completely useless fact I love sharing: The brain is the body’s control centre. It manages almost everything we do.
Naturally, it considers itself the boss. It also once spent 45 minutes deciding what to have for dinner and then ordered the same thing as yesterday.
One morning, the Brain called an emergency meeting of all the organs
Agenda: Who is the BossΒ in the body?
Brain: “Let’s not waste time. I control everything. Without me, none of you would function!”
Heart: “Oh, please! I work 24/7. No weekends, no holidays, not even a thank-you card.”
Brain: “You just beat. I send the signals!”
Heart: “Then explain why I turn into a drum solo whenever your crush walks past!”
Brain: “…Let’s move on.”
Lungs: “Please hurry I have important job to perform. Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale. Do you know how boring my job is?
Also, someone ran for a bus yesterday and nobody warned me!”
Kidneys: “I filter your mistakes all day. Every midnight snack, every fifth cup of coffee, every junk food and I never complain.
Okay, I complain a little.”
Brain: “I make all the important decisions!”
Stomach: “Really? Then why do you forget your own phone number the moment you smell fresh baked cake/ pizza .π
Brain: “That’s irrelevant!”
Stomach: “Every morning you promise, ‘Salad today!’ By evening, you’re hugging a pizza like it’s your long-lost relative.”
Brain: “That was… a tactical decision.”
Stomach: “It wasΒ your weakness with extra cheese.”
Suddenly, the Stomach let out a growl that made the water glasses shake.
Brain: “What was that?!”
Stomach: “Lunch reminder.”
Brain: “We’re in a very important meeting”
Stomach: “And I’m in a very important hunger crisis. Your meeting can wait. My Pizza party πcannot.”
The Brain tried to protest.
Brain: “Fine! Meeting adjourned. Emergency lunch break!”
Stomach: “Too late. I’ve decided to go on a hunger strike until I get respect.”
Heart: “A hunger strike? You? You can’t even survive a 3 o’clock snack gap.”
Stomach: “Exactly. That’s how serious I am. I’m now refusing to digest anything until my demands are met: more samosas, Pizza , noddles and fewer salads, and a proper thank-you card.”
Ten minutes later, the Stomach’s strike collapsed when someone walked past with hot jalebis.
Stomach: “Strike over. Negotiations successful. Please proceed.”
Brain: “Good. Now that order is restored, let me remind everyone: I am still the Boss.”
Everyone: “Sure, boss.”
Brain: “Why does that sound sarcastic?”
Lungs: “Must be the lack of oxygen. Oh wait, that’s my department.”
And so the Brain continued to believe it was the Boss, the Stomach continued to demand snacks, the Heart kept dancing at the sight of the crush, the Lungs kept breathing, and the Kidneys kept filtering and complaining quietly.
Moral of the Meeting:
The Brain may be the boss, the Stomach may go on hunger strike, but every organ has an important role to play. If even one goes on a real strike, the whole body feels it.
So, friends, take care of all of them: eat well, sleep well, drink water, laugh often, and don’t ignore that growl! π
Because a body is just like a family: everybody thinks they’re the boss, but nobody works alone.

Thank you parikhit ππ
This version gives each organ its own comic personality, and the ending brings the joke back to everyday human behaviour.

The interrelatedness of the organs in the body is amazing. One small collapse and the whole body collapses.

So true π The body is like a perfectly tuned orchestra: when one part falters, everything feels it. A good reminder to take care of the small things before they become big ones. π€π

Haha! So much for the brain being in charge. We spend half our lives trying to make sensible decisions, only to discover that the final vote often belongs to our appetite!

so true π The brain may draw up the plan, but the stomach always has veto power. Thanks for the fun comment ππ

WHAHAHAHAHA, Meeta! You’ve certainly given our organs some personalities, and I suspect a few of them are having a meeting of their own after reading this. π€£ Thank you for the laughs! Well written and so creative! I loved it! β€οΈπ
