Healing through words 😄

If I could travel back in time and witness just one historical event, I wouldn’t choose a war, a royal coronation, or even the moment a great empire fell.

I would choose the first moon landing in 1969.

I imagine sitting quietly in a corner of that control room, watching the faces of scientists who had spent years working toward something that seemed almost impossible. Then hearing Neil Armstrong say those famous words as humanity took its first steps in another world.

What fascinates me isn’t just the moon.

It’s the people.

The nervous silence. The uncertainty. The relief. The realization that something once belonging only to dreams had suddenly become real.

And perhaps, for a few minutes, everyone on Earth was looking in the same direction.

If I could witness that moment, I wouldn’t take photographs. I’d simply watch and remember what it felt like when humanity dared to go somewhere it had never been before.

Sometimes history isn’t about what happened.
It’s about how it must have felt to be there.
