Which is the best restaurant in your city?
Everyone asks, βWhatβs the best restaurant in your city?β
My answer is surprisingly simple: the best restaurant is not always the fanciest one. Itβs the place you find yourself missing when you havenβt been there for a while.
It might be a tiny family-run place with mismatched chairs, a crowded kitchen and food that arrives without much ceremony. Or a beautiful restaurant where the first bite makes you pause and think, βYes. This is exactly what I wanted.β
For me, a truly great restaurant has three things: food worth remembering, people who make you feel welcome, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer.
Because years later, we may forget the price of the meal or what the menu looked like.
But we rarely forget how a place made us feel.
So perhaps the real question isn’t βWhich is the best restaurant in your city?β
It is:
βWhich restaurant would you happily return to tomorrow?β
